Team Bodycentre’s process line is a journey of each vehicle throughout our workshops. We work to a conveyor system having a separate department for each part of the repair process. Vehicles are signed of by technicians to give the all clear before moving to the next department which creates great efficiency and quality work.
Before your vehicle is booked in, we carried out a full estimate assessing the necessary damage. We will cost the repair for you, giving you the choice of paying privately or using your insurance company. Regardless of whether you have had a fault or non-fault accident we will deal with the complete claim for you making it as easy as possible. We work alongside all insurance companies and as it's your insurance company, it is completely your choice as to where your vehicle is repaired. We have fully trained ATA accredited estimators on site at all times so you do not have to make a booking for an estimate.
Upon leaving your vehicle with us, if it’s an insurance claim you are making, contact would have already been made with your insurer to enable repairs to begin. If you are paying privately, you will be asked to settle the repairs upon collection. A courtesy vehicle can be provided for the duration at no additional cost. If your insurance cover does not include a replacement vehicle, don't worry as we will provide one to you. When you drop off your vehicle, our very experienced office team will carry out a vehicle quality check with you.
Your vehicle will be assigned to one of our fully trained and experienced ATA technicians where the removal of any required panels will take place . We follow every correct repair procedure, we never paint panels with accessories still in place. Everything is fully stripped down to ensure a top-quality finish and the longest durability.
Our skilled technicians in our panel department will carry out this in-depth process. Dents are removed, panels aligned and corrosion attended too. We have the latest equipment to allow us to carry out the biggest and most technical repairs. Our highly-trained technicians continue to attended extensive training to enable our company to meet the demands in technology of the latest vehicles. We are a full structural aluminum repair centre, supporting the approval we hold for Jaguar Land Rover.
We use nothing but the best products in this department so everything such as sanding discs, masking tape, plastics sheeting to protect interiors, degreasing fluid, gloves, masks and many more products that really help us go that extra mile and produce perfection.
Repairs that have required filler or bare metal exposed, these areas need to be primed to stop any corrosion or anti oxidation to the panel. This will also assist the painter to apply a perfect finish.
This skilful department requires a clean and immaculate area. Any dirt or grease left on the panels can cause problems when applying paint. So, we have a specific team to ensure all areas are clean and then mask, ready to load into the booth. Our experienced and qualified paint technicians then proceed with the application of paint using high quality products.
After paint work has been carried out, refitment is required, we piece the vehicle back together to it’s pre-accident condition using torque settings, pressures and measurements as per manufacturer specification.
All vehicles repaired will be presented back to our customers after a courtesy clean. We also offer machine polishing, vehicle detailing, interior and exterior paint protection and valeting.
We carry out full quality checks through every stage of the repair, signed off by all technicians invloved in the repair process. A final quality check is carried out after the vehicle has been cleaned, ready for presenting back to the customer.
Upon completion, we would ask you to inspect all work carried out. Providing you are happy, your vehicle is ready to drive away. We will explain the warranty supplied and repair guarantee certificate.
