About The
Bodycentre

Only the best
will do...

Not only do we use the best products available on the market, we also have the most hard working, devoted team. We make sure that all our necessary team members are kept up to date with training, specifically the dedicated manufacturer training, to ensure we continue to follow the correct repair, paint & MET procedures. This guarantees our work is completed to the highest standard, allowing us to stay at the top of our industry.

As you can see from our Google Reviews, one of our main priorities is to provide an outstanding and stress free service, which we achieve through our highly experienced customer service team and dedicated technicians.

Supporting Our Community

At The Bodycentre we are proud of the relationships we have built with local businesses and charities, and supporting our local economy is something we are very passionate about. We believe that by dealing with local brands, the local economy is stimulated and you in turn have an abundance of choices when it comes to products and services in the local area. Supporting & buying local is also an essential component of green living, as locally produced items do not need to be shipped across the country to get to you, which in turn reduces your carbon footprint. We also support local charitable causes which include EACH (East Anglian Children’s Hospice).

In February 2019 we also raised over £4,000 for a local boy called Callum Doe, who was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour. The idea was to raise enough money so that Callum and his family could all go on holiday to Disneyland, before his condition deteriorated.

We raised this money by organising a charity drive through carwash, an all day event which featured food trucks, live music and a small car show displaying high end sport cars from the local Norfolk area. Our whole workforce got involved with the charity car wash, together with other members of the local community aiding in the organisation. We are so proud and grateful for everyone’s support in this event.

How we work

Our process is tried, tested, then tested again. We follow these steps to ensure we provide the best quality service possible.

Estimating
Before your vehicle is booked in, we carry out a full estimate assessing the necessary damage. We will cost the repair for you, then offer you the choice of paying privately or paying through your insurance. Regardless of whether the accident was your fault or a third party’s, we will deal with the complete claim on your behalf, making the process as easy as possible. We do work alongside all insurance companies but remember, it’s your insurance, so it is completely your choice as to where your vehicle is repaired. We have fully trained ATA accredited estimators on site at all times, so you do not have to make a booking for an estimate.
Vehicle Drop-Off
Upon leaving your vehicle with us, if it’s an insurance claim you are making, contact would have already been made with your insurer to enable the repairs to begin. If you are paying privately, you will be asked to settle the repairs upon collection. A Provision for car hire can be arranged for the duration of your repair. If your insurance does not include a replacement vehicle, then don’t worry as we can organise this for you. When you drop your vehicle off, our very experienced office team will carry out a vehicle quality check. Detailed pictures of your vehicle will then be taken, before work commences, to ensure no additional damage occurs.
MET (Stripping)
Your vehicle will first be assigned to one of our fully trained and experienced ATA MET technicians, where the removal of any required panels will take place. We follow every correct repair procedure advised by your vehicles manufacturer and we never paint panels with accessories still in place. Every necessary part is fully stripped down to ensure a top-quality finish and the longest durability.
Panel Repair
Once your vehicle has been stripped by one of our MET Technicians, your vehicle is then transferred to the Panel shop where any structural or bodywork repairs are undertaken. Here our two ATA qualified panel technicians will carry out any repair that is required, and this can range from most forms of welding (MIG, MAG & resistance spot welding) to aluminium repairs & structural repairs. They are also experienced in the replacement of; new quarter panels, boot floors, front & rear panels, chassis rails, B Posts, sill panels & more. Our aluminium technicians are fully trained in aluminium welding and the use of all aluminium bonding techniques, including the use of flow form rivets, self piercing rivets & brake stem fasteners.
Paint Preparation & Primer
Once the vehicle has received its main repair, its then on to the Paint Preparation department when the remainder of the vehicle is de greased and sanded ready for the vehicle to be painted. Repairs that have required filler, or left bare metal exposed, need to be primed to stop any corrosion or oxidisation to the panel. A coat of primer will also assist the painter in applying a perfect finish. In addition to this we will make sure all stone chips, in the specified vicinity, are filled. We use nothing but the best products in this department, so everything such as tooling, sanding discs, primers, masking tape, plastic sheeting, degreasing fluids, gloves, masks and many more are purchased from the best manufacturers in the industry. This really helps us go that extra mile and produce perfection.
Paint
This skilful department requires a clean and immaculate area. Any dirt or grease left on the panels can cause problems when applying paint. So, we have a specific team in place to ensure all areas are clean and masked correctly, ready to load into the booth. Our experienced and qualified paint technicians then proceed with the application of any additional primers, base coats & clear coats using high quality products from our Galsurit 90, or Spies Hecker 480 lines.

We follow every correct repair procedure advised by your vehicles manufacturer and we never paint panels with accessories still in place. Every necessary part is fully stripped down to ensure a top-quality finish and the longest durability.
Valet
On completion of our work all vehicles will be presented back to our customers following a flat and polish on the painted area together with a courtesy clean. There are other services we offer, at an additional cost, include; Full valets, full vehicle machine polishing, vehicle detailing and interior/exterior ceramic protection. More about valeting
Quality Assurance
We carry out full quality checks throughout every stage of the repair, which are signed off by the assigned technicians involved in each process. A final detailed quality check is carried out after the vehicle has been cleaned, which ensures it is ready for presenting back to the customer.
Collection
Upon completion, we would ask you to inspect all work we carried out. Providing you are happy with the work we have done, your vehicle will be ready to drive away. Our experienced customer service team will also explain the warranty we supply and the repair guarantee certificate.
